Why choose Bowers Hill Farm?

Free Wi-fi internet access is available throughout the house – in your own room, or in the lounge, dining room, conservatory or garden

Wonderful breakfast – a sumptuous full English Breakfast with over 22 different items including fresh baked bread – so much choice you won’t want to eat again until evening!

Value for money – very competitive and so many extras included in the price.

Wonderfully comfortable – extra large beds with squidgee feather duvets – ooh so soft and comfortable – just snuggle up!

Views – wonderful views everywhere.  Trees, fields, birds, and animals to gaze upon. Wake up to bird song, or to the rustling of the trees, hear the bees humming in summer amidst our avenue of lime trees. The owls hooting and the occasional fox at dusk.  If you are very lucky, deer basking in the winter sunshine and the occasional badger in a hurry to get out of the headlights.

Bathrooms – all ensuite and with the latest creature comforts – baths, showers, shaving points, large mirrors.

Log fires – just listen and watch the crackling and snuggle up on a cold winter’s evening!

Beautiful garden its borders awash with summer colour. Sit under a shady umbrella and enjoy the peace and quiet from morning coffee to your early evening sun-downer.  Beautiful English countryside views over our lovely garden – you are welcome to enjoy all. Broadway Tower emerges on the skyline but closer still our orchards and yet more birds, busy in the hedgerows and trees make this location an unforgettable stay.

All bedrooms are designed to provide you with a comfortable and memorable experience.

A period property

Built around 1830 (Georgian), marvel at the existing sash windows, the original flagstone and wood block floors and still evidence of those days back in the 1950s when Bowers Hill Farm was run on gas lights!  Unique antique furniture, the probable dowry of Martin’s Grandmother’s when she first came to live here!

Location

Ideally placed to view all those wonderful rural hotspots. Plenty of parking space and as we are not visible from the road, people feel confident bringing vehicles with trailers: Rally cars, expensive equipment in vans, horse boxes, horse driven vehicles, vintage cars and sports cars.

We have a wonderful smooth tarmac driveway which is 1/3rd of a mile long – the days of filling potholes are long gone!!

So we are 1/3 rd of a mile from our country lane so no noise from passing traffic

Starry lit night-time skies

Special requirements

We try to be as flexible as possible with the arrangement of accommodation. Please ask us if you have any specific requests and we will do our best, wherever possible, to accommodate you.

We can provide non-allergic bedding so please specify this upon booking.

Also, perhaps you could let us know if you wish to have a bath or if you happen to be over 6’3″ so we can allocate you with the most suitable room.

We are Child Friendly

A travel cot with infant’s bedding, a baby listening device, night-lights and bed guards are available.

We can ‘listen out’ if guests wish to leave their children in the evening or alternatively a full babysitting service can be arranged.

Accommodation

“As we planned our journey to England, we were dreaming of a place to be and to stay – this place was it!”

We have a high chair complete with tray for very young children or alternatively a small wooden chair for seating direct to the table.

Milk and baby food may be kept in our fridge or keep it handy in a cool bag borrowed from the kitchen. We have many books, toys, DVDs and games available for young and old!

Pets

Whilst we welcome pets to our farm, sadly we are unable to accommodate them in the house. We don’t want to compromise our existing residents – Indy and Laurel our Lancashire Heeler dogs.
